INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS

INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR APPOINTMENTS

Before your first appointment you will need to fill an intake form which will give me information in order to conduct a detailed analysis of your case and better help you.

Please return it to me at least 48 hours before your first appointment. This form includes my privacy policy as well as consent for the treatment which you will need to sign (e-signature is also possible).

Please make sure to eat a snack or light meal before any appointment.

Please bring a big towel or thin blanket to lie on during your treatment. I am doing my best to reduce the carbon footprint of the clinic, thus work paper free and so forth 🌍

PAYMENTS

At the end of your session you will be required to pay for your session, after which you may submit a compensation claim to your insurance company in the manner they require.

Please note payments can be made only with bank cards, most credit cards and ApplePay (thus no cash, Tikkie etc).

You will receive an invoice per email, which you may then submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations are to be communicated via WhatsApp or email 48 hours and at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment. Late cancelations will incur full costs depending on the type of treatment cancelled.

Please be aware that these costs might not be reimbursed by your insurance company.

COMPENSATION FROM INSURANCE COMPANIES

(only for Chinese medicine)

Many Dutch insurance companies offer (some) compensation for acupuncture treatments. The amount of the compensation depends on your insurance plan, which must usually extend to an additional package including Chinese medicine. Acupuncture does not fall under the "statutory personal contribution" (eigen bedrag) required to access some health care, so you will not have to pay this sum in order to claim reimbursement from your insurer.

These options are changed by the insurance companies from time to time, so in case of doubt please check this with your insurance company.

I am a member of Zhong, the Dutch association for traditional Chinese medicine.

Zhong ensures optimal quality guarantee to patients through the application of international professional standards in the schools it approves, its internal regulations and requirements for annual post-graduate eduction and bi-annual first aid education of its members.

Zhong ensures patients have access and are informed about complaints' procedures.
